One of the things I love about selling on Etsy is being part of a community where so many amazing handmade and vintage items are for sale. I love perusing the site for new treasures, and on my blog, I’m planning on making a weekly post with some of my favorite finds of the week (though these finds may not be limited to Etsy):
This past week, I ran across these gorgeous beaded crochet necklaces by irregularexpressions. They are each individually hand-crafted.
Wouldn’t one of these necklaces look stunning atop a simple white or light pastel dress? For example, imagine them paired with this white cotton eyelet dress from SavvySpinterVintage.
My next find of the day comes from one of my teammates on the Etsy Vintage Elite team, Wretched Shekels. I saw this mid-century pink radio and thought “if only I needed a vintage pink radio!” (which I do not). But maybe one of my readers does?
Do you have any recent online finds you want to share?
Have you ever wanted to be (or just look like) a mid century housewife? (Think Betty Draper in the first few seasons of Mad Men.) Well, this coming week I will posting a bunch of new items that will help you achieve that look. My favorite is the embroidered patio dress. Here’s a peek at a few of the items. See more in my shop as the week unfolds (and of course, e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or message me through my shop if you’re interested in any of the items!).
And here’s the patio dress:
Polka dots are a lot of fun, and they can run the gamut from delicate and flirty to bold and joyous. My most recent shop update consists of lots of polka dots! Here’s a peek:
And here’s a dress that hasn’t been listed yet. E-mail me at email@example.com or contact me through my shop if you’re interested.
I’m starting a new blog associated with my shop, Blue Fennel Vintage. I’ll be posting shop updates here, but I’ll also be blogging about vintage fashion, running an online shop, and more generally, life. Welcome, and thanks for visiting!
