A vintage 1950s Jantzen color block cardigan in two shades of green -- a dark forest green and a chartreuse green. The cardigan is unique in that it buttons up both the front and back. The fabric feels like a synthetic or synthetic blend.
Size: has some flexibility -- will work for small to large
Bust: 40" unstretched, but will drape on smaller (sweater is tagged a size 36); bust will stretch to 42"; if stretched past 42", buttons will start to pull
Waist: 20" unstretched to 36" stretched
Length: 20"
Shoulder: 17.5" from seam to seam
Sleeve length: 16" cuffed, and 18" uncured
Condition: Very good. Gentle wear, including some minor felting in underarms that would not be visible when worn. Faint colorbleed on back of cardigan that is barely noticeable. Color bleed under buttons that's hidden by buttons, and some wear/cracking to pearlescent surface of some buttons. None of the flaws jump out -- sweater is striking and presents well!
