A vintage 1930s floral chiffon dress. It has shorter balloon sleeves with smocking on the shoulders as well as attached floral and leaf trim at the front neckline (it's currently attached with a safety pin so it can be removed when dress needs to be cleaned). The dress has no fasteners. It does have a snap just below the front waist that was likely where a belt attached. The semi-sheer fabric feels like silk chiffon and has a pink, purple, and green print on a dark ivory/light cream background.
Note: I've used a ribbon as a belt for styling purposes, but it not an original belt and is not included.
Size: medium to large
Bust: flexible because of gathering, but waist must fit over bust/shoulders (see below)
Waist: 38" (there are no fasteners at the waist, so this must fit over bust/shoulders)
Hip: 44", but best for 42" or smaller
Length: 43-44"
Condition: Very good. Some rust spots on floral trim at neckline, but they mostly blend into the print (see last two pics). Dress presents as excellent.
