A vintage 1940s bias cut satin nightgown with lace trim on the front bodice and back armholes. It also has embroidered trim on the back neckline. It's a beautiful, high quality slip that is expertly hand made with French seams and lace that is hand sewn onto the gown. The peach satin fabric feels like silk -- it's possibly a silk rayon blend, but the feel of the fabric makes me think that even if it's a blend, it's predominantly silk.
Size: small to s/m
Bust: best for ~34-37" (model is a 34" bust, and it fits her unpinned as shown)
Waist: 27" at rest, and stretches to 33" to fit over bust/shoulders (slip has belt loops, so can also tie smaller); model has a 28" waist, and fits her unpinned as shown
Hip: 44", but best if wearer's measurements are not at max (model has a 40" hip, and fits her unpinned as shown)
Length: 59" (will fall slightly shorter when worn because of bias cut)
Condition: Very good. A few tiny dents on skirt, and a pinhole on the back lower skirt -- none of these are noticeable when gown is worn. Gown presents as excellent.
