A vintage 1930s bias cut satin wedding dress. This gown has short, balloon style sleeves and an empire waist. It has 3-D trim around the front neckline and sleeve seams which look like flowers, and these have wax beads at the center. The gown has attached waist ties, which fasten with a buckle in the back. The dress also has a button at the back neck and a keyhole back. The satin fabric is a cream/champagne color and feels like rayon satin.

Size: small to medium (model is an xs, and gown was slightly large on her)

Bust: 36" at rest; stretches to 42" fully taut, but likely best for 38-39" bust max

Waist: stretches to 37-38" to fit over bust/shoulders; drapes on smaller (model has a 24" waist and dress fits as shown)

Hip: 45" taut, but best if not at max (best for 42" or smaller)

Length: 60-61" (due to bias cut will drape shorter when worn)

Condition: Very good. A few minor dents in fabric that don't jump out. Some minor discoloration on some fabric flowers due to rusting of hidden wiring that's part of the trim--again, this flaw doesn't jump out. Dress presents beautifully.

Note: belt looks like the existing hole was hand done, and it looks like someone started another hole but didn't finish it. When the buckle is set in the current hole, it's slightly off-center on the back. Dress is wearable and presents well as-is, and I decided to leave the belt so that the person who buys the dress can decide what is best for them based on their sizing needs.
