A pair of late 1930s/early 1940s striped pants. They have a front patch hip pocket with a decorative button, and they fasten with wooden buttons at the side seam. I acquired them as deadstock (see attached tag at front waist), but I did wash them because of a spot on the front bottom leg. The stiff orange striped fabric feels like a cotton or possibly a cotton/rayon blend. (The stiffness comes with being deadstock, and they will soften up with wear.)

Note: in the wide-shot photos, the color is showing up as brighter than they present in person--they are more of a muted orange (the closest photos on my screen to the color of the pants are the photos of the pocket and bottom of the pant leg).

Size: xxs to xs

Waist: 23"-snug 24" (buttons could be moved slightly to fit 24" waist more comfortably)

Hip: 34"- snug 35" (9" below bottom seam of waistband)

Front length: just over 36"

Back length: 37.5"

Front rise: 13.75"

Back rise: 17.5"

Inseam: 24"

Condition: Very good. Pleats on back of pants are asymmetrical, but this appears to be part of original design of pants. A faint horizontal line mid-pants of slight dye darkening. A faint spot above front hem that isn't noticeable (see last two pics). Pants present well and have tons of wear left in them due to their deadstock nature.
