A vintage denim jacket from the early 1940s with a collar, slightly puffed sleeves, white trim, back vent, and white decorative buttons near the sleeve hems. The jacket has a double row of buttons on the front, one functional, and one decorative. The jacket also has a patch on the sleeve that I haven't been able to identify but that I suspect is WWII-associated. The jacket has a label at the back neck that is difficult to read, and it also has an Erwin "Blu Surf" denim label (see photo). The fabric is a light blue denim.
Note: In the last photo, I've shown the jacket with a pair of light denim pants. The jacket and pants were sold to me as a set (and would look great as a set). However, when I inspected them closely, I saw they were similar but were likely not originally a set--they have different labels and slightly different denim fades. I'm selling them separately, but I replaced the buttons on both items with matching buttons so that if someone wants to purchase both pieces and wear them as a set, they will match.
Size: small to s/m
Bust: 38"
Waist: 35"
Hip (near hem of jacket): 38" (won't fit tightly because of back vent on jacket)
Length: 24"
Shoulder (from seam to seam): 14.5" (there's a bit more room in sleeves since they are slightly puffed)
Condition: Very good to good. Jacket is sturdy but shows signs of being an older casualwear piece. It has faint discoloration from age in areas, most notably on the upper shoulders and collar. Jacket has been cleaned.
