An antique Victorian-era capelet. It's a striped knit in blue, bronze, and dark green/black chenille. It fastens with two sets of ribbon fasteners at the neckline. The bronze knit feels like silk, and the blue and dark chenille feel like cotton.

Condition: Very good. Blue stripes have some very faint discoloration (see last photo) -- I'm not sure if this is yellowing from age or color transfer/bleed I have not hand washed this garment because I highly suspect it will have color bleed issues, but I have aired it out and steamed it. It presents beautifully.
