An antique 1890s blouse with gigot (leg of mutton) sleeves. The blouse is made from a sturdy ribbed cotton fabric in white. The sturdiness of the fabric makes it extremely wearable as a close staple! The top has buttons just above the cuffs (we weren't able to button because the sleeves are a bit short for my model). It also has button holes (likely once fastened with studs) on either side of the cuff and down both sides of the front of the top
Note: Ribbons at front and on cuffs are not original to garment--I have added for styling purposes and will include with the top.
Size: xs to small (I'm a size medium through the shoulders, and this top was a bit too snug for me through the shoulders)
Bust: ~38", but meant to drape (model measures 32" and top fits as shown)
Waist: ~32" (model measures 24" and top fits as shown)
Length: 17"
Shoulder: 13.5" from seam to seam
Sleeve length (from shoulder seam to hem): 23"
Condition: Very good. A couple faint, subtle marks on front bodice--because of faintness of marks and fulness/texture of blouse, you have to hunt for them.
