A vintage 1930s silk slip dress with embroidery at the front neckline. This would originally have been a nightgown. It is bias cut with a high waist seam. Although it has no tags, it appears to be an expertly-done handmade silk slip with hand embroidery, a rolled hem, and French seams. It has belt loops, but is missing its original belt. The cream fabric feels like silk.
Size: approximately size small, but has some flexibility if you're on the cusp (e.g. xs/s or s/m)
Bust: at rest it measures approximately 33-34", and has give to approximately 36"
Waist: 26" at rest to 35" at max (it has give in order to fit over shoulders/bust--will drape on smaller)
Hip: 40" at max
Length: 63"
Condition: Very good. Some subtle rippling to fabric. Areas of very faint discoloration on the bottom half of both front and back skirt (see last photo). This lifted almost completely when I cleaned the slip, and at this point, it's not noticeable when slip dress is worn because of faintness and location. The slip dress presents well.
