A vintage 2-piece playsuit from the 1940s with a cropped top and shorts. The shorts fasten with side snaps and a side metal zipper. The woven fabric is soft with drape, has some weight, and I think it's a rayon or rayon/cotton blend (it doesn't have any synthetics).

Waist: 32" at rest, which is 14.5" from mid-shoulder (has give to fit over bust/shoulders)
Length: 14.5" from mid-shoulder to hem
Shoulder: 16.5"
Shorts:
Waist: 28"-28.5"
Hip: 44" (measured 9" below middle of waistband)
Length: 17.5"
Front rise: 16"
Back rise: 18"
Condition: Very good. Some yellowing that is so faint I couldn't get it to show up in pics (playsuit has been cleaned). Zipper has a thread stop, but this doesn't affect its functionality. I did a hand repair to a seam on the shorts where fabric had frayed (see last pic). None of these flaws detract, and playsuit presents as excellent.
