A 1930s swiss dot gown. It has a halter-style neckline with an open back, and a large collar that covers the shoulders. The dress has a large peplum that covers the side and back hips, and comes to a point in the back. The dress has a large green bow at the front neckline, and has green ruffled trim on the collar, below the bust, and around the peplum. The semi-sheer, ivory cotton fabric has green Swiss dots, and the green trim feels like cotton organdy. The dress fastens with hook and eyes on the front neckline (under the bow), and snaps and hook and eyes at the back bodice, waist, and upper hip.
Size: xxs to xs
Bust: 30-32" (model has a 32" bust, and fits her as shown)
Waist: 24" (fabric has a bit of give and could work for a snug 25", but not larger)
Hip: 38" (best with a bit of drape)
Length (from top of halter neck to hem down front of dress): 58"
Condition: Very good. Some subtle, uneven fade to green bow/ruffles. A few scattered pinholes that get lost in drape/pattern of fabric. Very faint areas of color bleed on bodice, collar, and peplum--not really noticeable because of faintness and semi-sheer fabric. See close-up photos. None of these flaws detract from the overall appearance of the dress, and the dress presents beautifully.
