A vintage 1930s chainstitch embroidered dressing gown with a shawl collar, hip pockets with decorative bows, and ruffles at the ends of the slightly puffed sleeves. The cream chain-stitched embroidery is on the collar, pockets, puffs of the sleeves, back bodice, and throughout the skirt. The blue fabric is a shimmery, lightweight rayon taffeta. The dress fastens with interior waist ties and a button at the side waist.
Size: medium to large
Bust: best for ~36-40" (it's a bit large on the model, who has a 34" bust)
Waist: 32" (will drape well on slightly smaller--model is a 28" waist, and fits her as shown)
Hip: open
Length: 48"
Shoulder (from seam to seam): just under 16"
Condition: Very good to good. Some wear to the side of the button. Some scattered pinholes and some fabric flaws, primarily on the skirt. Most of the pinholes are next the embroidery and not noticeable. The first pinhole pictured is just above the back waist. Because of the embroidery, and because of the flaws' locations, they don't jump out at you and dressing gown presents beautifully.
