A vintage 1940s seersucker house dress with a zip front, scalloped neckline and sleeves, and hip pockets. The fabric is a turquoise cotton seersucker with a rose print in pink, white, and green. The dress has a tag that reads, "Ever Ready, Apparel City, made in California"
Size: xl
Bust: 43-44"
Waist: 36-37"
Hip: 61"
Length: 41-42" (has a 2" hem)
Condition: Good to very good. Dress has a number of flaws, but none of them really jump out at you, and dress is striking because of print. A few small spots that didn't come out when cleaning--a couple on back left sleeve and one near back hem--they aren't really noticeable because of print/color of dress. Dress side seams have added fabric in order to make the dress larger. A tiny repair at back neck. I believe the dress was hemmed from its original length--I think this happened when the zipper was replaced because front waist seam doesn't line up perfectly and hem is slightly uneven.
